To provide a stainless steel expanded metal mesh security door, which shall be installed in conjunction with an existing overhead or side sliding or rolling steel type door. The EXPANDED METAL OVERHEAD SECURITY DOOR shall use either the existing door’s vertical track or a separate dual track that shall mount behind the existing door. The operation shall allow either the standard door or the EXPANDED METAL SECURITY DOOR to be lowered. In all applications, the door shall use outside pull brackets at the bottom of the door, unless used as a stand alone or side sliding door.

The door’s frame shall be 1 1/2” or 1 7/8” thick, all aluminum construction with extruded aluminum rails. The mounting hardware shall be standard commercial grade 2” or 3” ten ball rollers, track and galvanized steel gauge hinges. The deep reverse angle used for rolling steel doors shall be of 14 gauge galvanized steel construction.

The door utilizes 3/4 inch, 20 gauge, flattened, expanded 304 stainless steel. It has 82% free area opening size 1.018sq.in.
