Summer's heat can often drive you to open your overhead loading dock doors, just to keep your employees comfortable and working, but left open, they create an extreme security risk. Open doors can also lead to the loss of your valuable goods and inventory. If you need a cost effective way to add security, cooling, and ventilation to your facility — there's the Bug Blocker® Chain-Link Security Door.
The Chain-Link Security Door is added to your existing overhead door system. Using your present door's vertical tracks, we add a switch mechanism, a second set of upper tracks, and a galvanized steel chain link mesh. A slide lock with padlock provides additional security.
A.I.B. Food Security Regulation 2.1 Secured perimeters to restrict access to the facility and related outbuildings.
2.10 Metal or metal clad doors utilized on entrances to facility. A chain-link fence or other suitable barrier (sufficiently restricting unauthorized access) should be provided for loaded transport vehicles and production plant buildings. Any outbuilding containing food ingredients, packaging, or other food safety sensitive items should be included in this or a separate secured perimeter. All gates or entrances in the fence should be locked.
